For when Hallmark doesn't get it

Heteronormative culture defines queer lives in one of two ways: either they are fraught with confusion, sorrow, and hardship (bury your gays, anyone?), OR are a glitter rainbow explosion of carefree sass.

While we are certainly no strangers to oppression, and yes glitter is a prominent aspect of any self-respecting queer household, there is so much more to surviving and thriving as a queer human.

There is community. There is celebration. There is the terrifying, overwhelming joy of finally figuring out what fits.  Building communities, relationships, and families that don't follow the blueprint society has handed out is a complicated, messy, and incredibly beautiful process.

Let's create a new culture together.
